It would appear too many citizens, for too long in Delaware County, have voted for the Party and not the individual. To vote Democrat because the person has a D next to their name is, not only silly, its irresponsible. The same is true for those with R next to their name. For local elected posts especially, it is critical to get qualified candidates and quality people to run for these offices and not some Joe who hasnt the experience or the qualifications to hold office, or shown the ability to have held a job with any regularity throughout his/her life, or even had the ability to handle their own personal/private affairs much less those of roughly 120,000 DC citizens. Until the voters of Delaware County change their voting habits and exercise knowledge when stepping inside a voting booth instead of voting for Jim Bob because of the letter next to the name, you will continue to get the results youve been getting. Delaware County voters have seen the enemy and it is themselves!
