It would be good if a sitting CM first resigns before taking part in agitation. After all, he has taken oath of office to abide by the Constitution and the rule of law. Delhi CM Mr. Arvind Kejriwal and his team must understand that governance includes order and not mess. Government must restore, sustain and enforce law and order, be part of order and head the administration and not be part of unruly mobs. CM and his ministers must not perpetuate unruliness and disorder. Those in AAP government must not behave like professional agitationalists, but must shoulder responsibilities of governance and administration and deliver services. Law and order in Delhi has a direct bearing on perception of the central government impacting not only its performance, but also the image of India nationally and international with constant media focus on happenings there. India needs leaders who can reform old and build new effective institutions, but not those who bring chaos and destroy even the existing ones. A high-voltage public show of confrontation with centre by AAP government in Delhi doesnt bring any good to common citizens and the country. AAPs greed for greater media focus and greater prospects in coming general elections must not be allowed to undermine national interests.
