It would be my mom Joans 78th birthday today. There isnt a day that goes by that I dont miss her like crazy. I still, 10 1/2 years after she passed, want to pick the phone up to tell her some little piece of news, ask her advice/opinion about something, listen to some music together or just to hear her voice. I was very fortunate to have a mom who cared deeply for me. She could be a tad judgemental once in a while, but she was the only person in my life who was 100% behind me, every step along the way of figuring out my life. And ALWAYS so proud of me asks happy for things I accomplished in my day to day. I couldnt miss you more. Every single day. Losing you left a void that can never be filled by anyone. As I sit here crying my sad tears, I know I am so incredibly fortunate to have had you in my life as my nurturer, protector, teacher and so many other things, but most importantly, as my mom and my best friend. I hope you are at peace and you will continue to guide me down the path of life. I love you tons. Me more. :)
