It would be so much easier to fake it and act like I am Christian especially in the south, I would be very good at faking it. But I cannot. I feel Christianity is one of the worst things to have ever been invented. It has been the reasoning for slavery, killing gays, war, burning people at the stake for witchcraft and even one of Hitlers excuses for killing the Jews, (he was a strong Catholic). No, I say things on occasion hoping to persuade some Christians to take a real hard look at what they are being taught, to not just blindly follow the group, but to look at it critically, especially look at the conception of the religion, where did it come from? who translated it? etc. One day I hope that mankind will move past the need for a destructive religion to blame for their beheadings and burning people at the stake, but I fear it will not be in my lifetime, but I wish it to be. The end of organized religion would bring overwhelming joy to my being and make the world a much safer and calm place.
