It would mean the world to me if everyone would share and fill out this survey so that MEAC is well aware that as active duty military and military dependents we rely on all options to be able to become higher educated in the field of midwifery as we are stationed outside of the United States. It is important for them to keep this option in place so that we can farther our education while abroad and while supporting our country. MEAC is planning to implement a moratorium effective July 1, 2015 on out-of-country clinical placements for new students attending MEAC-accredited programs and institutions. This issue is difficult and has undergone much discussion within the larger midwifery community. MEAC has requested feedback on this decision and I want to encourage students, perspective students, preceptors, alumni and anyone with any interest in the future of midwifery education to participate in this process by taking the following survey: https://surveymonkey/s/MEAC_OOC_moratorium
