It would seem that when fatigue starts to kick in, the average time it takes to go from the middle of the squat rack, to under the bar, off the hooks and begin squatting takes about 10-15 seconds. Take this into account when planning your rest periods. If you plan to rest for 60 seconds, start getting ready after 45 seconds so that you actually stick to the rest periods. When it starts to get tough, it does help to have someone keeping an eye on the time for you to make sure youre getting the most from your training.
