It wouldnt be me if I didnt post SOMETHING about the Hell of the West/ the thoughts/ reflection... but I am to keep so many thoughts to myself this time and say just a few things: 1) I am SO glad that Michel and I were able to go and compete in Reno. It turned out to be a special road trip for us, since we dont get a lot of time together. And staying at a hotel with the ability to relax between events, and spend time together at night let us talk and laugh and be silly- something we love but dont usually have a lot of time to do. That is my #1 positive takeaway. I love you so much Michel Davidson and thank you for being my best friend. 2) (the negative) I am VERY annoyed and bothered and probably will forever be aggravated that I was 1 point away from making it to the Final Event. I have had that thought on my mind since Saturday, and it hasnt ceased to bother the S**t out of me! So, my decision is to let it bother me, and it will calm down on its own- but Ill never forget what I learned , and I will always let if fuel me... and that leads me to reflection number 3: I learned SO much more about competition, about ME and my ability, my mental strength and my capacity as an athlete and how I have improved. I also learned that the community of women who were there were the most awesome, impressive, and supportive bunch I have ever competed with. It was touching to be in that. I met a few people who I believe I was meant to meet, and I am thankful! Overall, I am proud of Michel and I for the progress weve made. I really realized this weekend how far we have come. One year ago, I know I would not have even made it past the qualifiers.Out of 68 women I qualified to go to Reno, and then there out of 29 women I finished in 11th. To be able to hang with such badasses gives me so much confidence in our training, as long as our will and commitment to hard work is strong ... were on a pretty good path, and so many people are to thank for that too. Thanks to our friends who support us, and to our Next Level team who covered for us so we could go and represent. Im excited to take some rest, and then get back to the fun of training and competing. #vitargo #nutritionzonecostamesa #risebar
