Italian Day at Belmont Park this Saturday! Horse racing fans will be enthralled with the Del Basso Smallgoods Roma Cup over 1200m. While off the track Home & Away, singing and dance fans will be excited with the news that local Perth star Johnny Ruffo will be on course for a meet and greet from 12.30pm. Food lovers will be also licking their lips with food stalls selling delicious Italian food along with some of the state’s top chefs from Modo Mio providing cooking demonstrations after races 1 & 2 with free tastings of two of their signature pasta dishes. Parents looking for a family friendly day have multiple options for the children with live entertainment between races, free kids rides, face painting, an animal farm and a free Goulburn Valley Juice for the first 500 kids through the gates.
