Italian Serie A side Udinese have tabled a €300, 000 bid to sign Ghana U20 attacker Ebenezer Assifuah from Liberty Professionals, according to reports in the Ghanaian press. The 19-year-old, who has scored 8 Ghana Premier League goals, impressed Udinese scouts during the African Youth Championships in Algeria. Udinese officials have initiated talks with Assifuah who is currently in Italy with the Ghana U20 squad and are likely to wrap up the signing of Assifuah after the FIFA U20 World Cup in Turkey. Udinese have a cordial relationship with Liberty after Asamoah Gyan and Sulley Muntari who joined the club from Liberty excelled in the past. This will end Kotoko’s hopes of signing the starlet.
