Its 1:13 AM and tonight I am posting Bob Dylan gospel music. Did any of you see Im not there. I liked it a lot! This clip is a scene from that movie. It has about a half dozen Bob Dylans. all living in parallel realities. This Bob Dylan – is named Jack Rollings. Jack Rollings. (A parallel bob Dylan) was a star at one point in the early 1960s but who remained a protest singer and eventually faded into 60s history. He is The Bob Dylan who never reinvented himself. But like Bob Dylan, this character,Jack Rollings, became a Christian. Bob Dylan put out several gospel albums in the late 70s and early 80s. They were not well received at the time, but what else is an artist supposed to do but express their truths as they see them.?! A lot of people have revisited those albums and found a lot of gems and amazing work in there. I like this song. Pressing on in this world and through the maze of life unfolding in time. This is in contrast to the eternal and perfect heaven. Knowing that our hearts and souls long for heaven. Humans, by their very nature, are imperfect. We cant find perfection in ourselves or on earth. No human has ever kept the 10 Commandments. Is that just how it is or a part of some grand design?! Well, I dont have ALL The answers. Sure have a lot of questions though. I dont know where Bob Dylan is at these days in terms of spiritual beliefs. I did see an interview with him where he did refer to the Chief Commander Who created and controls his destiny. Do you have any thoughts on the matter? It is a Mind boggling and astonishing idea to think that the creator of the universe entered into the creation itself through a human being and as a human being about 2014 years ago...To say what needed to be said and do what needed to be done for love and justice. The Bible also says that doing any work on the Sabbath, such as gathering sticks, is punishable by death. This is side-by-side with divine mysteries and prophecies. Anyway here it is... Im pressing on. Curious if you have any thoughts on the matter or any of these matters.
