Its 1988, the government allocates 775 million dollars to replace - TopicsExpress

Its 1988, the government allocates 775 million dollars to replace two dams in Ohio. Its now 2013. The repair project is only 1/2 completed and the cost has risen to 3.1 billion dollars. Buried in the Senate agreement to end the shut down that was passed tonight is an allocation to bring the available funds up to 3.1 billion dollars. Why would there be this type of expenditure in a bill that is designed to extend budget and debt ceiling dates? Same old, same old crap, load every bill up with Pork Piggies. The Senate should be ashamed of itself passing a bill with 3 billion in one pork project attached to it. Wonder what other pork is buried in the bill? Now the question of the day, Is there anyone out there who thinks this Failed Federal Government is going to be able to govern over our health care system? theblaze/stories/2013/10/16/mitch-mcconnell-accused-of-sneaking-in-2-billion-kentucky-kickback-in-budget-debt-limit-deal/
