Its 27yrs today since my dad Harry Stables died. This is him and mum (Freda) on their wedding day on March 28th 1963, married at The Methodist church next to Barnard Castle Post Office. He was deputy superintendent at Lartington Treatment plant, working alongside Superintendent Eric Gregory, father of Colin Gregory , and also Frank Patterson who was a shift man at the new plant. Retiring in July 1987 after 33yrs service but sadly died in the November after just 4 months of retirement. Missed greatly by all the family.
