Its 30 degrees outside and Ive got a sunburn! The radiation is beginning to cause some sunburn type burns and some sore spots; but with only seven treatments to go, I believe Ill be alright. I think I am the last patient scheduled for treatment on most days. Today after treatment I went to the restroom and then by the Coke machine for my cold drink on the way home. When I came back into the waiting room, I discovered that I was locked in! All the receptionists, technicians, and nurses were gone. I used the telephone on the wall beside the locked doors and called the number posted. A kind man was seeking to find someone to help me when I noticed movement in a hallway. I found a cleaning lady and a friend who works there Bridget Baty Harwell. Thanks to Bridget I didnt have to spend the night in the waiting room!
