Its 3am, I spent the entire day packing and moving my entire house (well almost my entire house. Still have some boxes and some odds and ends to move), I am so exhausted and I cant sleep. Go figure. Have to get up at 5am to start loading my truck because I have some help coming early before he goes to work - and I need all the help I can get. Im in a horrible position because my new place here in Sebastian isnt ready for me to move into yet so I have to put my whole house in storage for a short time until it is ready. Then I get to move all over again from the storage unit into my new place. I absolutely HATE moving. Did I mention I only have 2 days to pack and move everthing out. No fun at all. If it wasnt for the kindness of 2 young men that I never even met before today, I wouldt have ever been able to move my big furniture. They are neighbors of a friend my mom knows in my area but she hadnt actually spoken to this friend in many years (since I was little). They occasionally say hello on FB but thats it. But they were very close when they were younger. Since I had NO help moving the big stuff(unless I wanted to pay an arm and leg for professional movers-which I dont really even have), my mom called her long lost friend and within two hours there were people at my house helping me pack and move. And the two guys who did the heavy lifting are coming back before and after work tomorrow to help load and move the remaining boxes. It just amazes me that there are still young men out there (one is early 30s the other early 20s) that still have respect and honest kindness to help a total stranger without expecting any compensation for their help. Of course I gave them a little money but one refused to take it and told me to just help someone else next time I run across someone who needs help with something.
