Its 45 degrees in Bullhead City, AZ, this morning and my arthritis is flaring up as a consequence. But it is beautiful outside: clear, cloudless sky and all manner of quail of circling fathers bird feeder. Im sitting with mother and talking a bout the local news. She is upbeat and sharp this morning; father is working-out on his stationary bike. Were all looking forward to the Cardinals/49ers game at 1:30 today. Dan Krejci are our Cardinals going to win? Esoteric, yes. But oh how cogent to the times... I am deep into Naomi Kleins This Changes Everything, which explores the relationship between free market economics and global climate change. It is well-written and thought-provoking. I highly recommend it but do not endorse all of its conclusions. Im going to work-out, watch the game, and generally just chill with the folks. Father and I will probably continue our culinary education by watching the wonderful DVDs he bought from the Culinary Institute of America (Im learning how to make Hollandaise sauce from scratch).
