Its 6:30am. For the past hour and a half, Rowan has been sleeping on my chest. He is fighting a touch of the croup, and this seemed to be the only way to calm him down enough to sleep. Needless to say, I have spent the last hour and a half, staring at the ceiling worrying that if I fall asleep, Rowan might fall off the bed. Which got me thinking... Last Christmas at this time, Rowan was just an anticipation. We didnt know him, know what he would look like, act like, etc. Now, there isnt a thing in the world we wouldnt do for him. And me being me, It got me thinking about Christmas, and Advent, and the times we live in... So much struggle, hate, and pain. So much darkness. Which ultimately led me to thinking about this song.... And the prayer it makes. May the Joy of Christmas, and the Message of Christ Love and Hope bring comfort to the world.
