Its Armed Forces Day! As some of you may already know, Enham Trust started as a place where disabled ex-servicemen could come to rebuild their lives after the first world war. They came and learnt trades such as basket-weaving, bee-keeping, farming, gardening and woodwork- all in the lovely little village of Enham Alamein. You can see here a letter sent in 1925 to a candidate regarding coming to live in Enham. Theres also an old leaflet advertising Homes for Heroes, circa 1928.
