Its Day 5 of the Gratitude Challenge and what a day to give - TopicsExpress

Its Day 5 of the Gratitude Challenge and what a day to give thanks! I am thankful for the advent of Christianity, at least in my part of the world. The chances of my survival would have diminished greatly if the missionaries hadnt shown up in Yagbaland. Before their arrival, 80% of children born survived because of a system which forbade young mothers from breastfeeding their children for the first seven days. The herbs the kids were given often kills them. My life has been a rollercoaster journey of faith and lack of it and back to it. It has taken me through Jehovahs Witness, CAC, Igbala Apostolic Church of Christ, Household of God, International Church at La Defense in Paris, Anglican Church in London, Living Faith Church aka Winners Chapel. Today I am grateful for finding a house of worship at the All Nations Full Gospel Church, Ottawa and being sheperded by Pastor Ralph Dartey my first pastor here. Moreso to Rev Dike Odimuko who exposes me to exegetical truth that solidifies my faith, making it unshakeable. Thank you all. I hope we all breast the tape. Todays gratitude is to the Trinity to God the Father, creator and master of all; to Christ the King who sacrificed his all for me and to the Holy Spirit our is a gentle shepherd. Today, I nominate - Ayo Obafaiye, Wale Adebajo and Jennifer Blessing. If they accept, for the next seven days, they have to state 3 things they are grateful for and nominate three people daily. Yes, time to start counting your blessings and naming them one by one.
