Its December 2nd at last! Those of you who have been following our journey for awhile will know that December 2nd has been marked as the day Paddy gets to come home forever!!!! Because things were going to well, we actually have had Paddy here for a couple of weeks. Our chihuahua Rumble went to training with Michael for a week and she returned on Thursday. Things have been going really really well! Paddy and Charger are the best of friends! They run, play and even snuggle together!!! Rumble isnt all that pleased yet but she continues to improve daily. Paddy will jump on the couch and lay down next to her and Rumble wont growl and jump down anymore, so thats a big improvement!! It is so funny to see Paddy change daily. In many ways she is like a little puppy who is curious, clumsy and wide-eyed over many things. It has been so fun to watch her discover toys! And I often catch her laying on the couch looking at the Christmas tree in awe. She is so precious and honestly, I couldnt ask for things to be going any better at this point! So as of today, December 2nd, Michael is officially off the clock!!!!! PADDY IS HOME SWEET HOME!!! We even found her a special dinner to eat tonight and share with her siblings😊 I am posting some pics of her from today and the past few days. You will see that she is adjusting to couches and beds extremely well, and you will also be able to see how much of a Daddys girl she is... She even holds him when she sleeps!!!! Your heart will melt like mine did I assure you❤️ For those of you wondering if Paddys page is finished because she is home, I can assure you that it is not. Paddy has so many firsts ahead of her and I cant imagine not sharing that with you!!! We also plan on making this page a way to save lives and share stories similar to Paddys so that we can continue to educate people on the beautiful spirit of pitbulls. We are here to stay!!! Before I go for tonight, I want to give a heartfelt thank you to each and every person reading this. You all are the heart and soul of all of this mission and my gratitude cannot be expressed in words. NONE of this would be possible without you. Looking back it all seems so surreal... Paddy was found June 18th, fought illness after illness as well as spay surgery and heartworm treatment before being released from the vet on August 29th, she began a 3 month wellness rehabilitation training on September 2nd, and then here we are today with Paddy officially home. WOW!!! I dont think you all realize just how much you mean to us. Every time I would start to second guess myself or feel I couldnt go on, there you were with your kind words and encouraging prayers. When we needed donations for Paddys care, you all responded immediately! When our hearts were broken you picked us up and not just us... Each time we post a dog in need, a baby who crossed to the bridge or a sick furkid needing prayers, you all rose to the occasion. We are a force to be reckoned with and I am honored to have an ally in each of you. In the beginning I would say that you are my rock, Paddys strength, and together we were her voice. I still mean every word of that. As we combined to become Paddys voice, we were heard loud and clear across the world!!!! We are a force to be reckoned with and I have no intention on slowing down now. I hope you will continue to stay with us as Paddy lives the rest of her days in a warm loving home, and as we advocate for many other misunderstood babies who deserve the same❤️ I truly love you all! All my love for all my life, Tiffany❤️🐾
