Its Ebola not the common cold! What do people not get? Were so worried about hurting someones feeling that we wont do what needs to be done to contain this disease. Someone who makes a choice to go to an infected area should not then have the choice to bring it back to all of us. People who go to West Africa should be held in quarantine till we know for sure that they are safe. Im really pissed off because I was just in Dallas/Fort Worth at a convention with other people from all over the country. All of us were home and back at work before we were told that there had been a case of the disease there. I had already kissed my son, my grandkids, my mother, been to Wal-Mart and the feed store. My wife teaches in a public school. Now the truth is we should all be safe. But this one man -and doctors and nurses that released him back into the public when he was symptomatic- could cause a nation wide plague. His choice could directly effect -hopefully not- millions of people. Rent a cruise ship put it off shore and dont let anyone from infected areas back in this country till we are 100% sure they are clean. Yes Im phobic about disease, but this is an unnecessary scare on so many counts. Dont go to West Africa, dont let people from West Africa come here until the plague is over. The needs of the one DO NOT out way the lives of the many. Dont take chances with our health for the sake of being politically correct.
