Its February! Do you know what that means? Time to reveal our #WordWarriors memory scripture for this month: Psalm 30:11-12 You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent. Lord my God, I will praise you forever. (NIV) I consider this one of my life verses. I can truly say that God has turned my weeping, mourning, and wailing into DANCING! If youve seen me live, you may have noticed! ;-) If this is your first time hearing about Word Warriors, or you have seen my posts about it but did not join us in memorizing 1 John 4:4 last month, its not too late! We are memorizing a new scripture each month in 2014. The Sword of the Spirit is the Word of God and with it we can fight off our enemy and our flesh the way Jesus did in Matthew 4. This year, I made a resolution to hide the word in my heart and am so happy to have my friends joining me! If you have not yet, sign up for Word Warriors at disa.cta.gs/03a We have some special things in store for those who are signed up this month. Dont miss it! As you read, meditate on, and memorize Psalm 30:11-12 this month, think about how it applies to you. Does it sound like your testimony? If not, make it your prayer. Heres an example of how I do that (using the Voice translation): Lord, I pray that You would do it: Turn my deepest pains into joyful dancing; strip off my dark clothing and cover me with joyful light. Restore my honor. Make my heart ready to explode and erupt in new songs! Make it impossible to keep quiet! Eternal One, my God, my Life-Giver, I will thank You forever. Leave a comment and let us know how these verses hit you. Its a bit longer than our January scripture, so Id also love to hear your strategy for memorizing this month. Lets do this!
