Its Fit Friday! Every Friday I will post a fitness tip. Today I did legs! Eek! I was dying. A few things to keep in mind when doing lunges and squats... Lunges: -Try to go down far enough where your legs are at 90 degree angles -Keep the front leg slightly bent when you come up. This will keep the muscle engaged. -You might get off balanced when going so low like I almost did in this video :) And that is okay! Squats: -Keep the chest up -Squeeze the glutes and abs when coming up. I like to think of pushing my hips forward just a little My legs were on FIRE! But it felt good and getting the workout done first thing in the morning (with my hubby next to me, not on video) started it out right! And for my photo challenge word of the day...my legs definitely wanted FREEDOM when I was holding squats and lunges. They were burning. Afterward, I laid on the floor! :) #FFPphoto #day19 #FREEDOM
