Its Friday, Its 8 am ( bit early but busy day ahead), and its TOP TIP time !, and this weeks top tip is this, if mum and dad have worked hard all their lives, and now own their home and have some savings, make provisions to protect their estate from care costs and or Inheritance Tax by making plans early. I get many enquiries as to how to save mum and dads estate when it is too late, and the authorities are already involved. Its a delicate subject to approach, but Im sure mum and dad would sooner leave their money to you, than pay it all over to the local authority or the tax man.
