Its Friday! So we thought a nice little piggy video would be a good way to finish the week off. These are six little Berkshires that lost their mum when they were four days old. The shepherds wife with help from the farm team bottle fed these little guys every TWENTY MINUTES both day and night for their first two weeks before they could go onto hourly feeds. Luckily our Guernseys had just calved so we had a ready supply of very rich milk- just what little pigs need to survive. Totally exhausting but very rewarding- despite being told by pig experts not to bother because it was too much work, we now have 6 healthy (but very naughty) piglets. So here they are, romping about in a wood.
