Its Hilarious to me that the Church constantly speaks about non conformity to the world. Now I cane out of this world. And I couldnt conform to it while living for it. So, I lived my lifestyle oblivious to its ways. I was a drug addict...I was a rebel WITH A CAUSE...lol Oh you say,but Julie dear thats the worldand I would say, you are dead wrong! The lifestyles of a Drug addict has absolutely nothing to do with the World. Do you know its actually the exact opposite? Where I came from, the folks I was around wanted nothing to do with the world. Its a behavior and rebellion against the Lifestyles of the Rich n Famous, and while they can also be addicts, well thats overlooked because of their money, fame, power or popularity. People like Marilyn Monroe , Janis Joplin, Elvis Presley, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix,,Curt Cobain. All folks who were hurting and in pain and suffering from THE WORLD and its ways. The World is telling us that we dont matter unless we are :Successful, popular, Rich, Skinny, Beautiful. And from where I sit those same characteristics are what The Church stands for in these last days.. Dont believe me?. Then why are their classes in Church that will teach on HOW TO BE SUCCESSFUL, but nobody wants to learn on or teach a class on How to treat and respect those that have less than? Why is their functions that cost an arm and a leg to send your child to camp , when their are good hard working folks that cant afford it, and are even ostracized because they cant afford it? Why is it that there are cliques in the Church? That would fall under the worlds immense pressure to fit in, now wouldnt it? And then if you somehow are strong enough to stand ALONE and keep your own God given identity ,then nobody wants to include you??? People, their are mob mentalities in our Church that would put The GodFather Familyto shame. I know , Julie, now dear lets not get carried away, See, its the Pink Elephant in the room, and the carpets in our Churches need to be removed and dusted under for real.... Im not perfect, far from it..but I walk before God not man. Its okay Im addressing all this in prayer and so should you. Lets ask the Lord to expose these dirty deeds that will send each one of us to a eternity in HELL. Lets repent and really apply Gods Word to our life and not CHERRY PICK scriptures. 2 Timothy 3:1-7 KJV This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. [2] For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, [3] Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, [4] Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; [5] Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. [6] For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, [7] Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
