Its Labor Day weekend, but its still SUMMER! Finally got to go down the shore but first made a stop at Monmouth Park (track) that offered a barbecue and craft festival today. I havent been to a track in decades....and I bet on horse #1 in the 5th named Always Thinking of You and was a winner!. Drove through Long Branch, Bradley Beach, Belmar Beach (lots of partying going on there), Asbury Park (Stone Pony), and then onto Point Pleasant Beach to Tiki Bar and Jenkinsens for Calamari and Crab Cakes. Really nice day...the first day Ive had a day trip this summer! Its STILL Summer!!
