Its Meltdown Monday! The year was 1991. On the final day of an intense Ryder Cup, Mark Calcavecchia was four up with four holes to play vs. Europe’s Colin Montgomerie. A win or a half on any of the remaining holes would clinch the title for the USA. He lost all four – including missing a two foot putt. But he was saved from permanent goat status when Bernhard Langer a 6-foot par putt on the final hole of the Cup, halving with Hale Irwin and allowing the U.S. to win back the Cup.
