Its National Nursing Home Week, which means Hula time for me. I had a lovely morning performing at Bradley Health Care in Cleveland, TN for their annual luau. The staff are very kind and sweet there, and the residents are dear to me and very interesting. I love hearing about Hawaiian vacations, special memories, and in some cases military service on the island (WWII). I danced for about 2 hours and they still didnt want me to stop.. which is very sweet and flattering. Im always reluctant to say good-bye; they so love the Hula dancing! They have a really nice facility there; I deeply respect the work and care they offer to the residents.
