We had our mid-season break and everyone seemed to come back hungry, especially that dam Jenn Foxon. The theme this week? Close games and high scores. On Wednesday we had Balls Deep beat Skees my Cherry Pie by 15, Trickskee Little Hobbits beat Quater Pounder with Skeez by 12 points, No Crying in Skeeball beat Mr. Skee by 8 and Skee Your Way into My Heart beat Skeel Magnolias by only 5 points. To go along with that we had 8 teams on Wednesday put up their best scores of the season. Congrats to Smells Like Skee Spirit, Skeeball is better than Bocce, Trickskee Little Hobbits, OMG! Kowalskees, Oh, No! Not the Skees, Little Lebowskee Urban Achievers, Ready, Set, Roll and Quarter Pounder with Skeeze. Looks like the week off helped. Now lets see who can keep it going through the 2nd half of the skeeson. Thursday didnt have any of those exciting close game but we did have 9 teams put up their best scores of the season this week. Skeepleus, Why So Skeerious?, NSA, Thank You For Skee-in A Friend, Boogskee Nights, It aint easy bein skeezy and H.I.SKEE+ all put up top scores but two teams broke the 1100 point mark. The first teams to do it this season both did it only an hour apart from each other on the same lane. I Got Roofskeed started the party off with 1110 and handed the lane off to Chotchskees who put up 1131. It looks like a lot of teams are heating up as we work into the second half of the skeeson. Down the stretch every ball counts, like the shirts say, Find Your 40!
