Its STILL November 18, and its Two-fer Tuesday Time. On this date in 1993, Nirvana recorded the album MTV Unplugged in New York. It included some of the bands own songs as well covers of songs by The Vaselines, David Bowie, The Meat Puppets (two members of which joined them on stage for their songs), and Lead Belly. It was released after Kurt Cobains death to critical acclaim and commercial success, and it ranks as one of my start-to-finish favorite albums of all-time. Heres the opening track that just begs you to keep listening all the way to the end. Ok, maybe skip Pennyroyal Tea, but thats it. -Chris
