Its September 5th! Today is Freddie Mercurys birthday! So that means its FREDDIE FOR A DAY!!!! Today, my donation will honor my love for Freddie and celebrate his love for... CATS! Thats right Ladies & Gentle-Ladies, Freddie Mercury was a Crazy Cat Lady! In February of 1991, Queens album Innuendo was released. The track named Delilah is about, you guessed it, Freddies cat! In April of 1995, Freddie released his solo album Mr. Bad Guy and dedicated it to Delilah. In his last music video appearance Freddie made (for the song, These are the Days of Our Lives, which incidentally was released in the US on September 5th) he wore a vest featuring all of his cats! So while I wear my official Freddie For A Day tee shirt I will bounce around my house and sing his Song Delilah, I will sing it to my heart and soul and change the lyrics to My Zyrah!
