Its Sunday. Maybe you arent planning on going to church. Maybe you are physically tired and need more sleep. Maybe you are emotionally tired and dont have the energy. Maybe you are sick and tired of religious church people and their shannigans. I get it. Ive been there. But I also know that sometimes, getting up and going to church can be just the thing that helps you. Today might be the day when the message is just for you. Today might be the day when you meet an authentic person who really sees you and cares. Today might be the day when you find renewed vigor and vitality to face your week. So throw on some jeans and a t-shirt, jump in your car and go. Go as you are. Jesus didnt have the latest fashions to make a statement when he entered the room. You dont have to either. Get up and go. If thats not an option, turn on your TV and watch. If thats not an option, fire up your computer and log on. True. You can meet God anywhere. You can crack open your Bible and read for yourself. You can turn on the radio and sing Jesus songs at the top of your lungs. You can get on your knees and talk to Him directly. But its also true, that during an event that is specifically purposed to shine the spotlight on God, what is important to Him, and what He wants to say, you can meet Him in a unique way.
