Its Super Snooty Sunday and this Sunday we are featuring Lotz Tadooh....because A. Shes SUPER....and B. This girl is ready for adoption!!!!! If you are new to the page, Super Snooties are what we call our special needs dogs....we try and focus on their super powers instead of their special needs because they are all heroes in our eyes. Lotz Tadooh is an appx 1 year old female Boxer. Lotz is very petite and only weighs about 30 lbs. It appears when Lotz Tadooh was just a pup, she was hit by a car which crushed her back legs and hips. Someone tried to fix the situation by basically performing a surgery where they just wrapped wire around her breaks to hold the bones together. When she came to us she was very underweight, and basically only walked on her front legs due to the fusion of the back legs and muscle wasting. Surgery was done on her left hip and she now has full use of the left leg, but there was nothing to be done for the right. She has no pain in it...it will just always be fused straight. We have waited to put Lotz Tadooh up for adoption to see if after completing physical therapy and building muscle back into her core and back end, if she would be better off with the fused leg amputated....but now that she is strong, she uses it to help balance and pivot and it no longer gets in her way. Her super powers are speed, agility, and balance!!!! And of course, stealing hearts!!!! This week Lotz Tadooh visited the Springhill Fire Station to make a guest appearance in the Blues Brothers calendar with the firemen!!!! Super Snooties supporting Super Snooties!!!!! Lotz loves other dogs and does great with all people. She is very playful, has great manners, and loves to be social. She also loves to chase kitties, so no kitties need apply!!!!
