Its Teacher Appreciation Day and ELM teachers deserve to be recognized! It is a sincere honor and pleasure to work with these outstanding women each day, Ms. Lynsey, Ms. Casey, Ms. Sara, and Ms. Danna. They are engaging, active, motivating, creative, aware, dedicated, innovative, committed, patient, professional, nurturing, warm, persevering, intelligent, industrious, understanding, cooperative, flexible, and dependable. You may find them greeting children, writing notes home, wiping noses, applying band-aids, facilitating physics lessons, tying shoes, growing readers, consoling children (or parents), laughing at silly jokes, listening to a story (for the 7th time that day), cleaning tables, cleaning toilets, counting to 100, answering questions, asking questions, giving hugs, receiving hugs, playing dress-up, wiping tears, or celebrating accomplishments. They do this with a smile on their faces every day. I wish that every child could be so lucky to have such a positive influence so early in their educational journey.
