Its a BIG YES. I AM A HEARWRITER -- POETESS. Its a gift,..and Im going to share to you how it works with me. --- Skyrock Pinkrose Most people who follow my blog to read my poetries and short articles call me a SOUL-POETESS. My blog followers knew very well the structure of my writings/poetries. How I deliver every lines, my style, the passion I put on it. Theres one incident that occured in Skyrock International Blog Site wherein a blogguer copied my poem, translated in spanish, posted on his blog and claimed it was written by him. The poetry was spread in Skyrock and I being unaware of it, has been receiving notifications and messages from my blog followers to go to the blog link wherein my poem was stolen and posted. To my surprise, I saw all blog comments stated the same in french: thief, the poem is not yours, Pinkrose poetry etc. On that very moment Ive came to realize that theres a kind of attachment that was already created between my writings and the people who has been following my blog for years. And I find it gratifying that people who follow my blog report the links of my stolen poetries to Skyrock team. On the other hand, some people who are new reading my compositions, for curiousity would send a message after reading me would ask, How do you write your poems? What is your secret? Youre deep., Where did you get that?. Actually, in writing my poetries or articles; theres no secret on it. I just give importance, appreciate and listen to the inner voice in me. Yesterday, as I go through reading the comments on my latest post here in Facebook (12/02/14), I came across Suzan Moores comment and has mentioned: Hearwriter you are. Its a BIG YES, I AM A HEARWRITER and I am going to share to you how it works with me... If voices are telling you stories, explaining what they are --- youre a writer. In my case, it took me years to discover that this was both unusual for regular people and perfect normal writers. Personally, I describe it as a Writers voice; I call it CREATIVE WRITING -- YOU WRITE WHAT THE SOUL SPEAKS. Hearing voices is important for good writing. Ill go so far to say its essential - which voices you listen and how you respond will make all the difference. And with those voices you need also to listen to your characters wants and needs, hopes and dreams; in other words youre characters inner voice. And a way to get inside of theirs is to let them speak to you. LISTEN TO YOUR HEART. ITS ALL ABOUT ME. -- what interest me, what questions I have, what bugs me. Thats what I write about. Listening to the questions in your head that can lead you down the right path. Questions like: Can I write this another way? Can I write it as a fiction? Or non-fiction? Or Poetry? Can I write this for another person? Now comes the hard part: learning to evaluate that criticism from your reader/ viewer. This is essentially different because as a writer, we tend to listen with our hearts. But when it comes to criticism, its important with that keen editors voice in your head -- and that takes practice, a little distance and objectivity. When your critics give their suggestion a fair shake, listen to that too. Take the good suggestion to your heart and ignore the criticisms of those who only want yo rewrite your story their way. BOTTOM LINE: THERE IS ONE VOICE YOU SHOULD IGNORE AT ALL COSTS. YOU KNOW THE ONE -- ITS THE VOICE OF SELF DOUBT. I would say that being a hearwriter (listening to your inner voice) its not a crazy thing, you are a unique writer. Embrace your other voices -- ITS A GIFT.
