Its a beautiful thing to let go. I mean TRULY let go...of the need for attention, accolades, and the opinions of others. For quite some time, my world revolved around what others had to say. Lord forbid, they talk about me behind my back. What?! There went my day. Im too skinny. Whoa now, she got weight on her. Shes stupid for staying with him. Ugh, look at her natural hair, her nose, her smile, etc. I have breathed a sigh of relief in Jesus that NOBODY else in this world couldve possibly given me. Theres a reason I tell all of you that every negative has a positive in it. Every negative in my life groomed me to be this positive, so Im sharing the secret that aint really a secret. Think. Just think about the time you waste seeking approval and the lengths you go to for it. Sending anonymous fools half naked pictures, posting half dressed selfies, ranting with malicious intent on social media, plotting how you are going to get back at whomever, etc. And for what? They dont care. What youve done gives them more ammunition and theyll keep firing until you bleed to death. Wake up folks. You dont have to be a slave to what anybody says. You dont have to spend the days of your life angry or in tears, going through depression, drinking, and smoking weed trying to escape life. Peace IS attainable, but it requires you to START focusing on Christ and STOP concerning yourself with people who only want to contribute to your funeral. And dont make the mistake of constantly explaining yourself to people either. Those who get high on sowing discord, havent experienced peace for themselves. Therefore, they dont know what it is nor will they understand its importance. YOU do whats best for YOU and dont look back.
