Its a deeply spiritual experience to see and hear Beatles music petformed by an original Beatle. Maybe its the booze. Maybe its because Im a baseball junkie and Im standing at whats usually home plate at Petco Park and listening to Paul McCartney! Maybe its the period pics of Paul and the Fab Four rolling behind him. Ive been to Beatlemania. Ive been to the spot whet john Lennon was shot. Ive heard my parents stories of being in London in 1964 when everyone was gaga for the Fab Four. Maybe its because Im enjoying a rare kid-free nite with mi esposa bonita. Nonetheless, Im usually a healthy cynic but here I am stripped of my defenses. I am dancing like a complete fool and giving myself to this evening. Im not a music guy and this is the first concert I dont want to end. Maybe its San Diego, where I demolished beer for breakfast in my misguided college days. Oh, and heres a great story from Paul (were on a first-name basis now) about Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton. Or maybe its the booze.
