Its a disgrace to globalisation as we know it...US and EU farmers and blue collar workers have failed miserably and so did their pvt. multi dollar organisations. They had to be rescued with state subsidies running into billions just to keep them working so US and EU markets would not be flooded with Asian and other developing countries products ( industrial and agricultural )... The curse of globalisation is that most developing economies have been debt ridden by IMF and WB where they pay millions in commission to the leaders convincing them to take long term loans which could never be paid and entraps them in a vicious cycle of further debt servicing of these poor nations. Its what I call modern slavery at its best as the salves dont even realise he/she is a slave.
