Its a given that I always give a toast/speech at our NEW YEARS EVE party....and there is a running ?....how long will it take for mom to cry. I wasnt sure what it would be until I went to Dunkin Donuts on New Years Eve EVE and it all came together. I was in line and the gentleman in front of me said Ill buy her coffee...I said oh NO NO thank you anyway but he insisted. My friend behind the counter smiled at me and said he does this ... and I thought ... oh kay! So I moved along and he said he does this often...oh kay I thought again. And then we walked outside together and he said...I do this because .... my wife passed away 2 years ago. I would get coffee for the 2 of us every day; and now every day I buy a lady a cup of coffee because its like Im buying it for the 2 of us... well needless to say I started to cry in the parking lot.
