Its a good feeling looking out over a job well done. Grass is cut, and just right before it rained too. That was lucky. Even tilled by the runoff pond and waterfall, We removed the weeds and odd plants that took up residence as well. The water plants are all blooming already. Yay! Amazing to see just a couple of weeks after having been planted. However, Im devastated too. It turns out the water lines I used were too flimsy and easily broken under the high pressure of the two sump pumps and filter system. With both working in tandem, I had my doubts early on. I kind of figured they might be too strong for those lines. Kind of broke my heart to see one damaged, to fix it, and then to turn around and see another one spring a leak. Arrghhh!!! *sigh* At least I made the galldarn thing user-friendly. So now all I have to do is, A) Go buy the more expensive high pressure hoses (the others didnt come cheap either believe it or not), B ) Remove the bottom back rocks from the falls. C) Pull the hoses through the pvc pipe sleeves from the runoff pond wall, D) Reattach the new hoses, and E) Place everything back the way it was. Piece of cake.....I hope. Hahahahaha I will post again when its up and running again. Anyone wanna go for a dip? I was looking forward to next weekend and laying out under the apple tree chillaxin, with a nice glass of sun tea. Ahhhh! Looks like it might be another week before that can happen though. Oh well.
