Its a good thing that Islamic terrorists are very much top-down - TopicsExpress

Its a good thing that Islamic terrorists are very much top-down types of organizations, in which everything must be done by permission from an Imam, Mullah or other Islamic leader. Indeed, individual initiative is un-Islamic: everything must be done following an accepted pattern defined in the Koran. Anything that is not specifically mentioned in the Koran must be analyzed for years to determine what Mohammed would have done, based upon Koranic interpretations for guidance. For one of a great number of examples, Muslims must wipe their asses with their left hand, and immediately afterwards wash that dirty hand in a nearby water source (if available) since that is the procedure approved by Mohammed. The use of toilet paper causes any number of problems for Islamic scholars! But many Moslems have adapted to Western mores and would find difficulty with true compliance with Islamic strictures (including many of the requirements for all things Halal!). Indeed, if a Moslem touches you with his left hand, he has mightily insulted you, since the left hand is only supposed to touch things that are unclean. Be aware! Imagine what the world would be like if all the highly-educated scientists in Islamic terrorist organizations could go off and conduct Jihad on their own, using their detailed knowledge of science! I shudder to think this thought: a lot of Islamic terrorists were educated in the West and are quite capable of using that knowledge to manufacture not just powerful bombs, but also very potent biological, chemical and nuclear agents. Of course, the problem with allowing people to think for themselves about one topic opens the door to their thinking for themselves in a general sense, with unpredictable consequences. Democracy is un-Islamic: Moslems routinely conduct violent Jihad against Democracy and Democratic thoughts and agitate for a single central government of all Muslims, led by one all powerful religious and secular leader, as defined in the Koran to be ideal. Yep. Its a curse, of sorts, to be fascinated by human history. The tendency to draw parallels across cultures is powerfully tempting. Today, I examined some of Hitlers ideas, and, later, some Islamic ideas (modern and ancient). After reading such violent drivel, it can be very difficult to go to sleep. What separates modern humanity from our baser urges? In truth, not a great deal. Sigh. ... Our children deserve the best we can give them, in the way of a working society with goals of fairness, equity, prosperity and human rights. Will they get it? ???
