Its a good thing that the IRS selected me for a new job; because I could not have continued training for the Collections job. I dont know why they instituted this policy, but ACB Recovery in Covington, KY forces all of its 500+ collections reps to reveal their ACTUAL full name to cold-call consumers. I asked the question: Doesnt ACB care about protecting the anonymity and privacy of its employees? You could get a stalker or disgruntled respondent! The trainer said, Thats the policy. You have to use your real, legal name. I went home deeply upset, and saw the e-mail from the IRS. Saved by the bell.
