Its a good thought and I love all dogs, but I disagree. Breed is definitely a factor. Its not a life sentence and doesnt make anything impossible, but it does make things more challenging. I have rottweilers that dont bite, but breeds have genetic tendencies from selective breeding over hundreds or thousands of years. Same reason that beagles are good hunters and german shepards make good police dogs. Having said that, no breeds should be discriminated against or banned. With the right owner, any dog can live in peace and be a great pet.
