Its a little hard to see, but this is a picture of an old, rusted out plow at the very southern end of Chicago Ave. I took it in March of 1999 on one of my visits to Lansing. I was surprised to see that it was still there. My sister Tina and I used to play farmers on it back in the summer of 1962. I wonder if anyone knows anything about its history. There used to be a gray house right here on Chicago Ave., but now there is a much bigger residence in its place. We lived in the gray house that summer while our brand new house on Park Ave. in Oakwood Estates was being finished.
