Its a long one! Lol! But some of you may understand. I have been earning good money for a few years now and managed to eliminate credit cards and I have nice things. But I still often lived pay cheque to pay cheque. Very few fortnights went by that I wasnt keenly aware of when payday was. Im the sole breadwinner for me and as most know, the cost of living for one person is not much different to two people. Big city living is expensive. I have never had a slush fund. And with Dad gone and being single I dont have anyone I feel comfortable to call on to help me in a bind. If Daisy got sick in the past, there was the worry about her welfare but there was also the guilt laden stress of I dont have the money to pay for an emergency vet trip. What if they wont help her? Because you are looking at minimum $275 and most of the time I probably had $50-100 in my account. My budget neatly planned out to the last $. That terror. That gut churning what do I do? The amount of times I would swallow my pride and confess I dont have $x handy, may I pay you on Wednesday please? I promise Im good for it. Theyd ask if I had a credit card but even back when I did, it was maxed out just on living because of compounded debts from bad choices, bad habits and sometimes bad form on the part of others. This weekend, for the first time ever, I was able to give myself peace of mind when Daisy was unwell by taking her not once but FOUR times by taking her to the massively expensive (but worth it) after hours animal hospital. Last night she was admitted for the night for observation and for my peace of mind I didnt have to hesitate when they recommended blood tests that cost $250. I didnt feel sick when I paid $500 the first time and a further $300 subsequently. Network marketing has changed my life significantly. It gives me peace. And that is priceless. Xx
