Its a miracle that curiosity is not destroyed by formal education. ~Einstein. In the last few days, i have heard people speaking on this year as the year 5774, and declaring it a year of blessings of the Lord. i have heard one dear spirit-filled young man say it is the year of open doors. He may just not realize exactly how prophetic that utterance might be. So why is it that so many are saying this is the year 5774? It is because the Hebrew calendar says this is the year 5774.And, because so many men and women of God are also saying it is the year 5774, people assume it is the year 5774. Well, you might say, Joshua, do you think you are more knowledgeable about the time, than the Jews? My only answer to that is this; Gods word is the source of all truth, and He told me to speak to the bride of Christ about the times. The calendar that the Jews use is not some ancient calendar, from antiquities. it is a calendar that was devised by the scribes in the first century AD, After the time of Christ, and likely after the destruction of Jerusalem, and supposedly, they entered 210 years in it, for the captivity in Egypt. Even the stork in the heavens knows her times, and the turtledove, swallow, and crane keep the time of their coming, but my people know not the just decrees (mishpat, Judgement, ordinances, or time (of judgment)) of the LORD.“How can you say, ‘We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us’?But behold, the lying pen of the scribes has made it into a lie.The wise men shall be put to shame; they shall be dismayed and taken;behold, they have rejected the word of the LORD, so what wisdom is in them? Now I do not discount Jeremiahs appeal to the backslidden nation and the false prophets, but a careful reading of 7-9 of Jeremiah indicates he was speaking about more than just that time, but of all times. There is nothing new under the sun. The truth is this, if we accept mens words as truth and do not line them up with the word of God, we are taking a risk. This applies not only to our lives, but also to the times of Gods plan. If we reject the word of the Lord, what wisdom is in us? Now, we have in the word signs, and we have the signs of the times, and all of them are in full existence in this time. Signs, being like wars and rumors of wars, and signs of the times, being like people will be lovers of themselves, gathering of teachers to say what their itchy ears want to hear, scoffers, saying where is this coming? The Jews at the time of Christ were looking for the Messiah, because they understood from the scripture, that they were in the fourth day of Gods time. When Joseph had the dream of the son the moon and the stars bowing to Him, they understood that it was on the fourth day, that God created the sun the moon and the stars, and more than that, they had the prophecy of Daniel of the 70 weeks of years for the children of Israel. Now the 69th week was fulfilled to the day of April 6, 32AD. I will put the amazing results of that prophecy on a separate post. So how can we know this? I will show you, but let us not forget, the Jews were looking for a Messiah to reestablish the kingdom to Israel at that time. Remember the apostles just before Jesus ascended? They asked, Lord at this time are you going to establish the kingdom for Israel? and He replied, it is not for you to know the times or the seasons, Go and wait in Jerusalem for the promise of the Holy Spirit. Do not forget, that before this Jesus had said; When He, the Spirit of Truth comes, He will guide you into all truth and tell you of the things to come. Now , a big portion of the church, has no clue that this kingdom is going to be reestablished in Israel, as the prophets of old prophesied. And many think the kingdom is now in this earth. Whoa, that struck a nerve!!!! Saints, we are in the kingdom, dont get me wrong, but, we are ambassadors, and our Home is above. That is why we still suffer persecution and tribulation, and die, because the kingdom of God is not yet with man. Listen, flesh and blood can not enter the kingdom of God , but we will all be changed, in the twinkling of an eye, and we will rule and reign with Him on this earth, in the seventh millennium. 6000-6999. Lord, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. In the mean time, let us operate as kingdom children, in every gift and calling we have received from Him shining the light of the Son on a dark world. Rabbinic Messianic speculation has to do with the time of his coming. Following the Babylonian captivity, which was from 606- 537 B.C.E., the rabbis began to search through the scriptures to find clues about the time of Messiahs coming. There were many prophecies which they believed were indicators of the time when Messiah would be expected. During the first two quarters of the first century C.E., more than at any time in history, Messianic expectations were very high. Why was this so? According to Rabbi Abba Hillel Silver, A History of Messianic Speculation in Israel, the first two quarters of the first century, Messianic speculation was at its highest, not because of Roman persecution, but because of their understanding of the chronology of the bible. The Messiah was expected around the second quarter of the First Century C.E. because the Millennium was at hand. Prior to that time he was not expected, because according to the chronology of the day the Millennium was still considerably removed. Nevertheless , just as in our time, people like Harold Camping, the Jehovahs witnesses, the seventh day Adventists, the Millerites, Wesley. etc etc. had prophesied before the time. The second quarter would have started AD 25, when Jesus was about 25-26 years of age. Remember saints, when they wanted to put Jesus to death, they had to go to Pilate, to accomplish this. he had the power of life and death over the Jews. Let me explain this significance for the Jews. In the 49th chapter of the book of Genesis we read of the last blessing that Jacob bestowed to his sons. And Jacob called his sons and said, Gather together, that I may tell you what shall befall you in the last days. (Genesis 49:1). When he finally got to his son Judah he gave a prophecy concerning the Messiah. The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh comes; and to him shall be the obedience of the people. (Genesis 49:10) The scepter has been understood to mean the tribal staff or tribal identity. This tribal identity was linked, in the minds of the Jews, to their right to apply and enforce Mosaic law upon the people, including the right to adjudicate capital cases and administer capital punishment. There is abundant evidence from the writings from the ancient rabbis that the name Shiloh is an idiom for the Messiah. Therefore, according to this prophecy, the tribal identity or scepter of the tribe of Judah would not cease until the Messiah came. Judah was not only the name of the son of Jacob, but it was also the name of the southern kingdom of the divided nation of Israel. Judah retained lawgivers through the 70 years of Babylon and the book of Ezra lets us know that. Though they had no soveriegn authority, Judah remained able to judge and kill if necessary their own, throughout the Medes and Persians, the Greeks and the Romans, until; According to Josephus (Antiquities 17:13) around the year 6-7 C.E., the son and successor to King Herod, a man named Herod Archelaus, was dethroned and banished to Vienna, a city of Gaul.He was replaced, not by a Jewish king, but by a Roman procurator named Caponius. The legal power of the Sanhedrin was immediately restricted. Interestingly, the normal policy of Rome was to do this very thing, but Judea, to fulfill the prophecy had been spared from this policy up to this point. However, Caesar Agustus had had enough of the Jews and finally removed the judicial authority from them at the ascension of Caponius. This transfer of power was recorded by Josephus. The power of the Sanhedrin to adjudicate capital cases was immediately removed. In the minds of the Jewish leadership, this event signified the removal of the scepter or national identity of the tribe of Judah! In the Targum Onkelos it states:The transmission of dominion shall not cease from the house of Judah, nor the scribe from his childrens children, forever, until Messiah comes. In the Targum pseudo-Jonathan it states:Kings and rulers shall not cease from the house of Judah...until King Messiah comes. The Targum Yerushalmi states: Kings shall not cease from the house of Judah...until the time of the coming of the King Messiah...to whom all the dominions of the earth shall become subservient. In the Babylonian Talmud, Sanhedrin 98b, Rabbi Johanan said: The world was created for the sake of the Messiah, what is this Messiahs name? The school of Rabbi Shila said his name is Shiloh, for it is written; until Shiloh come. The reaction of the Jews to this event is recorded in the Talmud. Augustin Lemann in his book Jesus before the Sanhedrin records a statement by Rabbi Rachmon: When the members of the Sanhedrin found themselves deprived of their right over life and death, they covered their heads with ashes, and their bodies with sackcloth, exclaiming: Woe unto us for the scepter has departed from Judah and the Messiah has not come. The scepter was smitten from the hands of the tribe of Judah. The kingdom of Judea, the last remnant of the greatness of Israel, was debased into being merely a part of the province of Syria. While the Jews wept in the streets of Jerusalem, there was growing up in the city of Nazareth, the young son of a Jewish carpenter, Jesus of Nazareth. The inescapable conclusion was that Shiloh had come - Only then was the scepter removed! Another prophecy of the bible was fulfilled. The ancient Jewish scholars believed that God worked in numerical patterns. One of their beliefs was that the world system would last 7000 years. Just as God made the world in six days and rested on the seventh, so the world would last seven thousand years. This rabbinical belief came from the scriptural notion that a thousand years is as a day and a day is as a thousand years in the sight of God.For a thousand years in Your sight are like yesterday when it is past, and like a watch in the night. (Psalms 90:4). Now the Rabbis believed Messiah would come in the fourth Millennium, and that they would be two years with the Messiah. Hosea 6:1-2 This same concept was believed by the early Christian church fathers as well. By the Holy Spirit, Peter said; But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. (2 Peter 3:8). In an early church document called the Epistle of Barnabus, believed by many early church authorities to be authentic, there is this statement: And God made in six days the works of his hands; and he finished them on the seventh day, and he rested on the seventh day and sanctified it. Consider my children what that signifies, he finished them in six days. The meaning of it is this: that in six thousand years the Lord God will bring all things to an end. For him one day is as a thousand years...therefore children, in six days, that is in six thousand years, shall all things be accomplished...then he shall rest on the seventh day. So is this the year 5774? God has given us in His word a detailed chronology as the Rabbis knew, of time from Adam. In Gen 5, we have the ages of the fathers when they gave birth to the next in line to Noah. In Gen 11, we have the chronology continued from Noahs son, Shem, to Abraham. it was 1948 years to Abraham, and another 75 years to Abrahams leaving haran, or 2023. I find those numbers interesting, because the Jews also will be a part of the Abrahamic covenant, through Jesus, in the end. Saints on May 26, i received my coordinate in a dream after He said speak on the times not the signs. The coordinate I was given was 626, and only later it was revealed to me it was Isa. 62:6. To the birth of Isaac. was 2048 years, 25 years later, when Abraham was 100. Now the Jews do not have anything but the fact that Isaac was 60 when Jacob was born. Jacob was 130 when he went into Egypt and he died in Egypt at the age of 180. It was four generations they were in Egypt. Paul, who was a Pharisee of Pharisees, by His own admission, and by the Holy Spirit told us this; Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as referring to many, but rather to one, “And to your seed,” that is, Christ. What I am saying is this: the Law, which came four hundred and thirty years later, does not invalidate a covenant previously ratified by God, so as to nullify the promise. From the ratifying of the covenant, the birth of isaac, through whom the promises were made, to the law, was 430 years. 2048+ 430= 2478. This brings us to the law. The law came in the first year of the exodus, at Pentecost. In 1 Kings 6, we have the next clue to the chronology. It was in midspring, in the month of Ziv, during the fourth year of Solomon’s reign, that he began to construct the Temple of the LORD. This was 480 years after the people of Israel were rescued from their slavery in the land of Egypt.NLT. I use the NLT, because the word translated eightieth in so many translation, is actually the word eighty, and the word for fourth, indeed is fourth. So we now have 2478+480= 2958. The fourth year of Solomon is the day His third year is reached, and he reigned 37 years after that. so now, we have 2,995 years from Adam. Now historians have placed the year of Rehoboam at the year 931, or 930 BC, based on Egyptian archeology, but if you will study how this came about, you will find as I did the math is wrong and the variations even with the wrong math, is 35+years. I think it best to use the bible on this. As i said at the beginning, the Jews recognized that the fourth millennium was at the time of Jesus, though they failed to recognize him according to what the bible also had prophesied. The bible is Gods word. I could put all the verses in 1st and second kings where we have the lengths of the reigns of the kings of Judah, and the one queen Athaliah, but let me just say in these scriptures, we find that the reigns of the kings of Judah to the year 587 BC, comes to 395.5 years. Adding all the years together, to 2022, we get 5999.5 years. Now in the eleventh year of Zedekiah reign, the last king of Judah, the city was besieged, and it was the 5th month and the seventh day the temple was destroyed, in 587 BC. When I go into the other times, and especially the seventieth week, and the restoration of the captivity of Judah while in Babylon, we will be able to see much more. Remember, the Day of atonement in the Hebrew calendar is generally in the month of September in ours, so that the Day of Atonement 2021, is the year 2022, in the hebrew calendar. Certainly, i hope from all this out of the word of God, the year 5774, is not a real considerationfor anyone anymore . Now, Jesus came in the fullness of time, scripture tells us, and he is coming in the fullness of time again. It appears Jesus was approxiamately 23 years of age when the fourth Millennium began, roughly two thirds of His life on earth, and tomorrow, i want to speak on the 120 times, God spoke about His Spirit striving with man, in Genesis 6. Jesus came at two thirds of 6000 years of history, the fourth Millennium, the fourth day. There is a door of the house of David, and Jesus has the key. What He opens, no man can shut, and what He shuts no man can open; Rev. 3:7-22, Isa. 22:22-24; “Then I will set the key of the house of David on his shoulder, When he opens no one will shut, When he shuts no one will open. “I will drive him like a peg in a firm place, And he will become a throne of glory to his father’s house. “So they will hang on him all the glory of his father’s house, offspring and issue( tsephias, offshoot, leaf, shoot meaning dubious; The bride is a great mystery saints.Tsephias; figureatively, of less distinguished offspring; Stay humble saints, Jesus paid it all), all the least of vessels, from bowls to all the jars. 2 Cor 4:7 We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves.
