Its a shame ignorance is still so rampant. People like her, while entitled to their opinions, are scum for disseminating messages that are masquerading as hate and racism. Last I checked, this country has flourished because of immigrants. If more Americans are watching soccer today, its only because of the demographic switch effected by Teddy Kennedys 1965 immigration law. I promise you: No American whose great-grandfather was born here is watching soccer. One can only hope that, in addition to learning English, these new Americans will drop their soccer fetish with time. -Ann Coulter
