Its a shame the user interface is soooooo 1998 - like vertical text menus and header lines between dated photos, and all this blank dark screen unused. Try scrollable menu using grid image thumbnails, instead of text titles that occupy the whole screen like in Apple Tv or even in my online storefront. Use symbols that are universal (such as the thumbs up like in FB) so that you dont need language translations for your interface graphics on the menus. Go Visual people! get some new young guns in the Sony team! The Hardware is Great, but your Microsoft-Like Graphic User Interface is absolutely Atrocious! Extremely Old-School . Feel free to ask me for Insights, as to Modern Interfacing as applied method of accessing functionality Movies could be a film roll graphic, music a music note or an L.P., Photos could be any icon you desire to market or a camera.. etc Do the same with Playstation too please, as the the menus are so old school text based. You need new people with new innovative ideas, so you dont have to fold more products like the Vaio Flip Duo i bought last year. The reason it folded is because you cant keep up with the innovative new approaches, even though your hardware technology is high end and top quality.
