Its a tough time of the year for me. Fourteen years ago today, we had our first miscarriage. It doesnt hurt as deeply as it did when it first happened, but it still stings. Fortunately, I got to spend the day with my hubby who catered to my every whim, and we engaged in retail therapy. I replenished my makeup supplies, a little black dress and jean capris (on clearance with a buy one, get one free sale), and I got to use the Hot Topic gift card my sister Denise got me to get this pretty bracelet and watch (also on sale). (Ive been wanting to get a watch for a while because I hate having to pull my phone out just to see what time it is.) And Andy didnt get left out of the retail therapy - he got an Oklahoma Sooners hat. And I normally hate shopping because I dont have the patience to sort through racks of items, and I hate trying clothes on; however, everything today was a perfect fit As an added bonus, we got to pick Logan up from school and spend some time with him, which is one of my favorite things to do in the whole world!
