Its a tradition is a very poor reason to keep doing a thing. Hanging witches and burning catholics used to be a tradition. Just because we have done a thing for years is no reason to keep doing it, and if your only argument for doing a thing is because it has been done for years then you need to rethink. If that was any sort of valid reason we would still send children down mines or to work in mills, we would wouldnt have unions, women wouldnt go to work after they got married, we would still have slavery, we would ride horses instead of drive cars and we would all still be buying spice girls albums, ormworse still a-ha records!
